Green Builders has been named the 2008 Star Awards' Green Building Advocate of the Year. The award was presented during the Star Awards Gala at the Sunbelt Builder Show.

The highly-coveted Star Awards are presented annually to recognize the best in new home building, remodeling and restoration. Though awarded by the Texas Association of Builders, the Star Awards accepts entries from the entire Southwest, including Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma. This year marks the first time that four Green Building categories were added to the awards line up.
